April of this year has deep significance to us as a ministry and to us as a family. This editorial is shared with you to encourage just what God can do with frail humanity and may it encourage each one of you who read it.
It would be a correct statement that every single soul who receives Christ as their Saviour, would want their Christian experience, right from the very first day, to be a success, but whether our Christian experience is a success or not, really comes down to the choices we make from that first day and to continue on a daily basis.
God has a church being those who love His message and enjoy meeting and mixing with others who love the same message, the message of Righteousness by Faith and salvation through the merits and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In the times that we now live, many are in fear and anxiety. Just about all conversations centre on our present national dilemma on safety of the vaccine, limitations of travel, whether we will be able to get essential supplies, family differences between the vaccinated and the un-vaccinated, bringing disagreements and even hatred and separation. But within those conversations, often times one can detect fear and anxiety.
Be aware that there will be side effects. Heart – it could have a drastic change in the heart, even changing the destination of the receiver. Mind – it can have significant effects on the mind – even mind-altering effects. Be fully aware that it is extremely powerful affecting the whole being – even lifting the receiver from earth to heaven!
Believe it or not, we have been facing this world pandemic for almost two years. It is a second birthday that the world is perhaps enduring, but not really celebrating! The news about Wuhan seems to be long forgotten, and various variants have taken its place and the Delta strain is the one reigning supreme at present, raging through the world. And already there are whispers of new variants on the horizon and others may well continue to appear.
