The first thing we learn about mankind in the Scriptures is that they are made in the image of God. In our broken world this image has been marred. And yet God’s promise to each of us is that by beholding Him we will be changed into His image once again. But how do we see Him? We often look at people expecting to see God. We look at religions. We even look in the mirror. Inevitably we are disappointed. And yet there is a place where God has put Himself on display. To see Him we need to close our eyes to the ugly pictures of deity so prevalent in our world today and open our mind and heart to the crystal-clear image of God revealed in Jesus Christ through the Scriptures. This series of presentations is not about peoples or religions that claim to represent God, but about God Himself. It’s about His divine purpose for your life. Daniel will also be discussing the dangers of the “Emerging Church”.
