When he was young Mike's family joined a church, however early on in his Christian life he and his family walked away from God. He lived his life as a criminal until his matchmaking mother sent him to some Christian meetings with an ulterior motive.
While his mother's plan didn't eventuate, Mike was invited to lunch which began a series of events that started his journey back to God and developed into a burning need to save souls for Christ.
